The Beach Soccer World Championships 2001 was the seventh edition of the Beach Soccer World Championships. The tournament took place in Costa do Sauipe, Brazil from February 11-February 18. It was also the first time that Brazil did not win the tournament and saw them finish outside the top 3. Portugal became the champions.

12 teams were split into 4 groups of 3 with the Top-2 from each group advancing to the knock-out phase.
